Sisters & Brothers of South Brunswick
The SB2 South Brunswick
Prime Directives
SB2 is driven by a few but mission critical principles, built on inspirations from a giving community charged with kindness, generosity and support that is South Brunswick.
100% Volunteer-based
We believe that helping our community and neighbors in need should come straight from our hearts. There is no obligation to partake in SB2’s movement. No one on the SB2 board gets paid. We do what we do because we believe we should.
Full Anonymity
SB2 believes that giving should be unconditional. We give because it is the right thing to do. Therefore, we have adopted the following principles:
- No recognition. To be recognized or credited takes away the full pureness of giving.
- No agenda. Helping should be fair and equal across the board to those in need.
- No reward. The only return we need is our own knowledge that those in need received the help that they sought.
Absolutely Neutral
SB2‘s initiatives are strictly non-commercial. There will be no financial gain from providing help. This is why we strive to not reveal the identity of businesses that collaborate with us.
We operate in absence of political or social beliefs to ensure that all those in need receive help without prejudice.
South Brunswick Exclusive
While we appreciate everyone’s generosity and cannot control who chips in, we harp on excluding participation to South Brunswick residents only. The SB2 movement is not only about helping those in need but also to build a unified community.
South Brunswick Gift Recipients
“I want world peace,” and “I want to end world hunger,” are common wishes and hopes that we have heard of over the ages. While those tasks are very challenging, we can always start small… here in our own hometown. Within an approximate 3.6mi radius is our own little world. And here is our opportunity to keep it peaceful and well-fed.
